If you’ve never heard of Luna the Fashion Kitty, your fuzzy pet bed must be under a rock somewhere! This furr-tastic fashionista (dress fur impress) and meow-cat for Purrsian Rescue is always full of a fiery attitude and wearing the trendiest clothes this side of the feline aisle! Her website, Facebook page, and cartoons are the mrrrow of the town, but until now much of her personal life has been a mystery! No longer -- now Yeepet takes on the private world of our favorite clothes-horse. We mean kitty! Clothes-Kitty! Sorry Luna! Now onto the interview!
* You are an out of this world looking feline! Where were you born?
I was born in Mexico!
* You and your Momma have such a wonderful relationship. When and how did you choose her?
Actually she choose me, she saw me online and she said that I wasn’t the prettiest (which I don’t believe fur a second) but that she couldn’t stop thinking about me!
* When and how did you get to be such a purrfect fashionista? Do you have to work hard at it, or does your fashion genius come naturally?
I just born FABulous! I started into fashion very young.
* What’s your favorite toy, and what do you like to wear when you play?
I love to play with the Turbo Scratcher and anything with feathers!
* What’s your favorite food? Do you prefer chicken stuff, fish stuff, or beef stuff? How about milk and cream?
* I know you like to shop at T.J. Maxx – is that your favorite store? Where else do you like to shop?
T.J Maxx fur sure is one of my FAV but lately I haven’t find any good fashion fur furkids, I find lots of good deals at ROSS dress fur less!
* Birds, for or against? What about goggies? Mices? Bugs?
Birdies piss me off, they teas me all day long, I don’t care fur doggies…. Honestly I just care fur me! LOL
* You have such pretty hair, do you prefer your Momma use a comb or brush? Do you ever go to the kitty salon?
I do go to the spa at Petsmart once a month and also my momma brush my hair every day, I have a comb and also a brush, the comb is good fur take off mats and the brush fur make my fur more fluffy!
* How does it feel to be so famous and popular? Do people stop you to ask for your paw-tograph on the street?
It feels PAWSOME! I love to show everypawdy that we kitties also can go out and do lots of things like doggies do, is time we get some fun!!
* Do you have a boyfriend?
I don’t have a boyfurriend but I have many admirers!
*How did you get involved with Purrsian Rescue? Where can people learn more about meeting your furry cousins so they can be owned by a Purrsian too?
I started with Purrsian Rescue because I notice that was a lack of knowledge that we purrsians also get abandoned and mistreated very often, most of purrsons don’t know that are purrsians fur adoption. You see every day purrsons fighting fur get kitties adopted but RARELY see purrsons sharing purrsians in need. * Do you have any advice for aspiring kitty fashionistas?
My advice is BE YOU, is nothing more fashionable that feel comfortable with yourself, if you like to wear clothes, PAWSOME, if you don’t is ok! Are many ways to be fashionable without clothes, fur example you can wear a bow on your neck, or a bow tie if you are a boy, or maybe rocking some Soft Paws or just chilling around naked! Is all about CATtitude.
* What can you tell us about what makes Purrrsian kitties so wonderful?
I think our purrsonality, we are easy going, docile and very affectionate; PLUS who we are kidding we are stunning looking! We are that hot girl with pawsome purrsonality, very rare! LOL
* How did you learn to ride in the car?
When I was a kitten my momma couldn’t let me alone at home, she was soo mortified fur me, so she took me everywhere with her, of course the furst 2 times I was like HOLLY KITTENS and I meow and meow, but my momma use to put her hand on me and say “You are ok, we are almost there”, so the third time was cool on the car, I totally love it!
* Do you ever watch other kitties on YouTube? There are lots of silly ones out there, but nobody as sexy as you!
I do sometimes but honestly I like to watch my self! I’m a total narcissist!
* What’s your favorite TV Show, movie and music?
TV Show I love “My Cat from Hell”, Jackson Galaxy is the BOMB! Movies I like the ones that make my momma laugh, because I can snuggle next to her and I love all kind of music!
* I love your pretty nails! Can you tell us about your mani pedi?
I use nail caps are call Soft Paws and Soft Paws are a HUMANE alternative to declawing. They are completely safe and can be used on cats of all ages. They are very fashionable and are glued to our nail, but don’t bother us at all, we can retract our claws purrfectly fine. I don’t use them only fur fashion, I use them because I like to scratch expensive stuff like my mommas laptop LOL.
* What’s your typical day like? Do you have a routine, or do you like to wing it and see where things go?
I do have a routine, I wake up my momma every week day to get ready fur work, I like to get ready furst, then I wait my momma in the bathroom till she gets ready, then we go to Starbucks (the guys there love me) and then we drive 15 min to the office. I work till 6pm then we sometimes go shopping or go to the park or just home. At night I like to run around the house and when the lights are off, I get dinner and potty before joining my momma in bed, I sleep all night!
* Is there anything else that you would like to share with all of your fans out there?
I love you all and I appreciate all the support you guys give me every day, remember that life is too short fur blend in!
