The new year is always a great time for making resolutions and hopefully sticking by them! With a few weeks into the new year, how many of you are keeping up with the resolution to lose weight and get into shape with your pet?
The overweight pet population is increasing with the increasing variety of treats, decreased amount of activity and yes, table scraps.
Do you need some motivation to get back on track, or to get on the health track at all? The following overly-poundful pets may do the trick for you! If you have an overweight pet, help them to get healthy and have more fun with increased activity with you!
What is your pet's weight?
Is your dog or cat or hamster, bird, or ferret overweight? Check their weight with your vet to see what is a healthy weight for them. If they are rolly-polly that's a good quick cue that they need to shed a few pounds.
Ferret In Your Shoe
If your ferret can no longer slide it's long slim body into your shoe, well, it's high time he lost a few pounds.
Bowling Ball Hamster
If your hamster gets mistaken for a bowling ball, well . . . . . you've got the picture!
Squirrel Fat
I have not seen too many fat squirrels in my day -- if your squirrel needs more exercise, play time, or less corn, well, now is the time to help them start swinging from ropes and limbs and get back into great squirrel shape!
Rollie-Pollie Cat
If your cat is as rollie-pollie as a fat gurling baby, your cat is too fat! Get them moving and playing and eating a tad less. Check with your vet for the best way to help your cat lose weight and get healthy!
What is this?
In case you couldn't tell through all the fat - this is a hamster! He needs a new play wheel or rolling ball to help get him fit. Healthy is happy in hamster words.
Does The Dot Make My Rear Look Smaller?
The dot could be slimming, but on this poor poochie, it only draws attention to it's growing girth. A little more exercise, a little more play time, and a little less treat time should help this doggie get back into shape.
WHOA!
WOW! This is some fat cat! He cannot even properly lick / clean himself he's so fat! Do you have a cat this fat? Help him now so that he can live a long and healthy, happy life!
The Picture Says It All!
Great ending shot (pun intended)!
