Are you ready to get excited about cardboard? I know, you are thinking that is impossible, but be prepared to be surprised.
Here is the Kittypod, two in one cat furniture. The Kittypod is not just a scratching post, it is also a kitty bed and eye appealing piece of furniture for your cat that will actually look good set up in your living room.
A Bit of Information on the Company
Kittypod designs all sorts of more high end cat accessories including scratching posts, plush beds and toys, and even shiny metal vanity plates. Kittypod, an independent design company based in California, designs and sells contemporary and responsible pet products.
More About the Product
The namesake Kittypod was first designed in 1998 by Elizabeth Paige Smith and has been sold ever since. Basically, the Kittypod is a raised bucket-shaped platform for you cat to perch on. But it is also much more.
Here’s the boring stuff:
-The Kittypod is made from 100% recycled material
-The pod is made of industrial strength corogated cardboard and nontoxic, water-based glue
-The base is made from wood
-Dementions are 28X20X19 Inches
Now the more interesting information. The cardboard pod is not just made, it is designed. With all of the sides and angles, there are plenty of spots for your cat to sharpen his or her claws, inside the pod and on the outside. After your cat is done with scratching, he or she can jump inside and take a nap on in the supportive and comfortable pod.
An Extra Bit
For an even more pleasurable experience for your kitty, try adding a Kittypod Shred throw. Shred is made from 100% alpaca yarn, which cats naturally find attracted to. The name comes from the way the throw is designed, with small cuts strategically placed throughout the square shaped blanket that attracts cats and looks appealing to their humans.
Shred can also be used alone or placed on a couch or chair as a protective layer between your furniture and your cat.
